Overview
Athean integrates with Zoom to provide enhanced insights and features for your sales and prospecting efforts. This document outlines how to connect your application with Zoom, what data will be accessed, and how to manage your connection.
What data we access
As part of our integration, Athean will access your Zoom meeting and phone data. This data enables us to deliver actionable insights, streamline prospecting efforts, and provide value to your organization.
How to connect Athean with Zoom
Connecting Athean to your Zoom account is a simple process. Follow these steps during your onboarding flow:
Start the Onboarding Process: If your administrator has approved app installations and enabled the CRM connection (e.g., Salesforce), you can begin your onboarding process.
Authorize Athean to Access Your Zoom Data: Click the “Authorize Zoom” button in the onboarding flow. This will only be relevant if your organization uses Zoom as a meeting and/or calling software. This will redirect you to a Zoom authorization screen.
Review Permissions: Carefully read through the permissions being requested by Athean. Review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you consent, click "Authorize" to grant permissions.
Managing your Zoom connection
To disconnect Zoom:
Individual Users: You can disconnect the application directly in your Zoom profile under the Connected Apps section.
Admins: Your organization administrator can also disconnect the application for individual users or the entire organization.
Data removal requests:
Users can exercise their right to have Zoom data permanently removed from Athean by contacting either your organization administrator or Athean support at support@athean.com.
Important notes
Admin Approval Required: Users cannot onboard individually unless administrators have allowed users to install the Athean application OR a CRM connection, e.g., Salesforce, has been enabled by the administrator.
