Connect email and LinkedIn
- In Integrations, find Google or Microsoft and select Connect.
- Sign in to your work account and complete the provider's authorization flow. Return to Athean and check the connection status.
- If you use LinkedIn, select Connect on the LinkedIn row. Follow the setup panel, including installing or connecting the Athean browser extension when prompted.
- If a connection needs attention, use Reconnect and finish the guided steps. If the status could not be checked, retry the status check before assuming the account is connected.
Email connections support sending and activity history. LinkedIn supports the LinkedIn actions available in your workflow. A connection alone does not enroll contacts in a sequence.
Review your signature and scheduling
Open Settings → Emails and check your Email signature. Edit it directly, or use Sync when available to bring in your Google signature. Save your changes.
Scheduling controls settings for automated outreach, including applicable limits and timing. Review these before adding contacts to sequences. Some settings may be controlled by your organization; changes apply to contacts added going forward. See Sending settings and limits for organization defaults, personal overrides, and delayed steps.
Scheduling link lets people book meetings with you. The setup screen currently asks you to connect Google. Follow Scheduling links to create your link and review availability, buffers, and booking rules before sharing it.
Prepare your calling and meeting tools
Before working through your first batch of tasks, follow Dialer and call settings to choose your call mode, check audio, and review recording, voicemail, and incoming-call preferences. Use Task flow to decide what opens automatically as you move between tasks.
The Email guide covers send later and open tracking. Set your notification and daily briefing preferences to keep up with new work. For calendar meetings, follow Meeting assist to prepare recording and live assistance. Your organization's setup determines which meeting features are available.
Organization administrators can connect Slack, configure API access for other tools, and manage the knowledge corpus that supports Athean's answers.
Keep your connections working
Return to Integrations when Athean asks you to reconnect or a workflow reports a connection issue. Check the affected provider first.
Disconnecting email or LinkedIn affects automated sequence steps that use that connection and stops its activity history from populating. Reconnect before resuming that workflow. If your provider blocks authorization or your organization's CRM data is missing, ask your administrator to check the relevant connection.
