Notifications and daily briefings

Review your notification inbox and choose whether to receive a daily briefing by email.

Review your notification inbox

On Home, find Notifications and select All notifications to open the full inbox. Start with Unread to review new updates, or select All to include notifications you have already read. Use the type filter to focus the list.

Select Open to see the associated details, or use an action such as Call back when it is available. Notifications point you toward work; use Signals to review account intelligence and Tasks to complete the actions assigned to you.

The inbox loads recent notifications. Type counts describe the loaded items; they may not cover the entire unread total. Use Refresh notifications if the page reports unread items that are not currently loaded.

Keep track of what you have reviewed

Select Mark read on an individual notification after reviewing it. It remains available under All.

Mark all read includes unread notifications outside the current view. Review the confirmation count before confirming. Marking a notification as read changes its inbox status; complete the underlying task or other work in its own workflow.

Choose whether to receive a daily briefing

  1. Open Settings → Notifications.
  2. Under Emails, turn Daily briefing emails on or off.
  3. Save your changes.

Briefings are sent on weekday mornings when there is content to include. They are intended for active users who have used Athean within the last seven days, so enabling the setting does not guarantee an email every day. If a briefing is missing, check the saved setting, recent account activity, and your email folders. If you previously unsubscribed and want help receiving them again, contact support.

For updates delivered to your team in Slack, follow Slack integration. Slack connection and workflow destinations are configured separately from your personal daily briefing preference.
