Lists

Collect accounts or contacts for a shared purpose and keep them ready for your next workflow.

Create a purposeful collection

Use a list to define who you want to focus on: target accounts, an event audience, or contacts you selected after research. Keep that collection ready for research and follow-up, so the information you review and actions you take stay focused on the right people.

  1. Open Find accounts or Find contacts and apply your targeting filters.
  2. Select the records you want to collect and choose Add to list.
  3. Choose the destination list or create one where the picker offers that option. Give it a name that describes its audience or purpose.
  4. Open Lists in the sidebar and return to the list to review its records.

Starting with a Sales Navigator audience? Import and review those contacts first, then add the resulting Athean contacts to your working list.

Focus on the records you need today

Use filters to narrow the records within a list. Save useful combinations as Saved views so you can return to them. Filtering a list changes the visible results without changing its membership.

Review your selected rows before applying bulk actions. Start with a small group when you are learning a new workflow, then expand once you have checked the results.

Remove contacts you no longer want in a list

Keep a working contact list focused by removing people added by mistake or no longer relevant to its purpose.

  1. Open the contact list and select the contacts you want to remove. Check the selected rows and count.
  2. Select Remove in the selection actions.
  3. Check the success message and the remaining list members. Clear restrictive filters if you need to review the full collection.

This removes those contacts from this list; their Athean records remain available. To bring someone back, find the contact and use Add to list again. If removal fails, read the error and check the current membership before retrying.

Put the list to work

Use the list as your starting point for account research or contact outreach. Select contacts and create follow-up tasks to prepare a calling batch or record a specific next step. When assigning a sequence, check the selected people, sequence steps, and enrollment settings before confirming.

An agent can use a clearly identified list as the scope for recurring work. Specify the list name and what the agent should do with it, including whether you want a report, proposed additions, or enrollment.
